Report Presented By Prof Barrows On New Sewage Plan
Dr Barrows presents a $200000 sewage disposal study proposing separate settling and digestion tanks to replace Imhoff tanks. The plan outlines two hour settling, 60 to 70 percent solids removal, discharge to Walker's Island outfall, sludge digestion with gas collection, and drying beds, with cost estimates across multiple sites and a projected annual cost under $17 000.
