Trio of accidents near Franklin Street Station yesterday
A sequence of three accidents occurred within hours in the Franklin Street area. A 67 year old man fell into a seven foot trench on Thames Street but escaped with no broken bones. An 85 year old woman fell on Franklin Street steps and was helped home with bruises. A bakery wagon was struck by a slow moving New Haven train near the Old Sugar House. Frank Weston was knocked unconscious, later stabilized and taken to hospital with abdominal and possible internal injuries. his horse and wagon suffered damage.
