Nunes Challenges Vaccaro On Costs And Programs
Alfred Nunes accuses Republican Vincent Vaccaro of sugarcoating a bitter pill in a clash over funds. Nunes questions a $3.85 million yearly savings claim from the Hoover report and contrasts it with governor Chaefe's January request for $9 million in new taxes to cover Vaccaro supported programs. He says programs like vocational schools, expressways, harbor upgrades, Medicare, and conservation require real money to advance.
