Four Colt Memorial students form twelve member council
The four Colt Memorial high school classes elected twelve pupils to serve as assistants to Principal Perley W. Lane. Elected were Ralph Church Lester Eisenstadt and Miss Hattie Manley with class graduations 1928 1929 1930 1931. Lester Eisenstadt was chosen president, Ralph Church vice president and Miss Manley secretary.

Fire Department Clambake At Mt Hope Bay
Twenty five members of the National India Rubber Company fire department enjoyed a clambake Sunday at the Howe Farm on Mt Hope Bay. William H. Manchester prepared the meal served at 2 30. Rain stopped the baseball game but a late afternoon program of events followed with William Josephs winning the 100 yard dash and shot put, the wheelbarrow race won by William and John Josephs, with Joseph Partington and Tony Case second.
