Three Parochial Schools to Open in Bristol Monday
Bristol will open three parochial schools on Monday with about 700 pupils expected. St Elizabeth’s will add a third grade and Our Lady of Mt Carmel School a fourth grade this year. St Elizabeth’s classes will be held at Taft School on Hope Street while the Monroe Avenue building is completed. Enrollment estimates list St Elizabeth’s 335, St Elizabeth’s 252, and Mt Carmel 145 last year with more anticipated.
