The Bristol Zoning Board of Review ruled that signatures on petitions for or against a zoning exemption must be notarized. Frederick T. Goff, a key figure in the Red Feather drive and community groups, heads the Residential Division this year. The board adjourned to Oct. 8 to review notarized signatures and continued other business including a gas station to auto body repair change and a withdrawn chiors shop petition.

Town Beach will close this Saturday following a successful season. The Bristol program wrapped up last Friday with swimming and life-saving tests led by Vincent M. Securo, Red Cross swimming director.

Beach Terrace Assn Closes Summer Program
Beach Terrace Association closed its season on Labor Day with a lawn bean supper at the Dubuc home. Afternoon activities included a sports program a doll carriage parade and a boys bicycle parade. Victory Welcome Planned for Kearney Post Team
The Kearney Post baseball team will arrive in Providence around midnight from New York. A 7 p.m. parade and reception is set for tomorrow night with plans to line up a block dance and speeches at the Legion home tonight.
