School vaccine rule notice for entering pupils
The superintendent E S Mapes reminds parents planning to enter children in public or parochial schools next Wednesday that all children must be vaccinated before admission. Vaccine permits are obtainable at Reynolds School office from 8:30 to 4:30 with birth or baptismal certificates. Children turning six by October 3, 1931 may enter. those seven before February 1, 1932 should start this September.

Three Brockton automobiles waved farewell as the New York boat carrying Dr and Mrs Harold N Brewster passed under Mount Hope Bridge. Mrs Brewster is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Sidney Davidson of Brockton. The couple heads to Honolulu for a year and a half of internship before five years in China as medical missionaries. Prudence Island youth wounded in accidental rifle shooting
Fifteen year old Charles Mulcahy of Providence was struck in the wrist when Henry Bagley, aged 17, fired a rifle from the cottage doorway at a Prudence Island camp. Mulcahy was treated in Bristol after the bullet lodged in his wrist. accident ruled by Bristol police, Portsmouth jurisdiction noted.
