Gomes Charged With Assault After Thames Street Quarrel
Frank Gomes aged 24 was arrested after a private complaint by Frank Quintal alleging assault on Thames street following a goods sale. Quintal had a bloody face and a facial laceration when police arrived. Gomes pleaded not guilty at arraignment and the case was continued. Bail set at 100 dollars secured by Manuel F Arruda.

Children Home Outing at White Rock Mt Hope

Transportation was provided by Mr and Mrs Samuel Kinder Mrs Charles B Rockwell Jr Mrs Frank H Buffinton and Miss Julia Drury. The group left at 2:30 and returned with children amusing themselves on Mt Hope bay shore and a luncheon served at 5:30.

A lawn party at Mrs. Frank Paull's grounds 647 Hope Street raised funds for the American Legion Auxiliary Kearney Unit No. 6.
