A Tree-Top Cure For Consumption
In Wide World Magazine D O Steinberger details his 3 year tree top life atop a Champaign County Ohio oak to cure tuberculosis. He lived summer and winter aloft in Camp-aloft with rope hoist access, sleeping on boughs, gaining weight from the pure air, and claiming recovery after physicians gave him months to live. He asserts open air treatment and higher atmosphere as a tonic, inviting others to try the method at small cost.
