Rich a US Navy disbursing clerk third class son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Rich will return home Thursday aboard the high speed minesweeper USS Macomb after six months with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean. The Macomb completed NATO Exercise Weldfast visiting ports in Algeria France Italy Greece Spain Malta and Sardinia.
Mrs Raymond Walker chair of the PTA clothing sale at Reynolds school thanks aides and donors. Canon Daniel K Davis will distribute locally leftover clothing. Walker was assisted by Mrs Fulton Farrell and Mrs Thomas Hayes and a committee of PTA members.
Canon Daniel A. Davis will moderate a panel at Barrington High School auditorium Friday as part of World Affairs Council United Nations Week. Brown University students from Russia Korea Poland and the Gold Coast participate. An essay contest by the Barrington UN Club is judged by Providence council officials and the winning essay will be read. UNESCO stamps will be sold to aid Korea rehabilitation. Public invited.
Frederic A. Cornell, manager of Collins and Aikman Corporation's Rhode Island plants, was named state chairman for the Textile Division of the 1953 54 Rhode Island Arthritis and Rheumatism Foundation campaign.

Wilbur F. Boehlke of Meridian Idaho and W W Rhodenbaugh of Caldwell Idaho purchased Northern Courteous Count from North Farm and Maple Lawn Farm Ashaway R I bought Northern Cicero. Courteous Count descends from Aldrich Farm Pride with milk and butterfat records. Cicero from Horse Shoe Beacons Flower with strong output records. Both sires are by Sterlingold Courteous King.
The Henry A Street Boys Recreation Room at the Bristol YMCA was dedicated by the board of directors. The basement room for boys aged six to nine features fresh paint, new ceiling, lighting, and partitions with games and recreation facilities. A plaque honors Henry A Street for his lifelong youth welfare service.
A three to four year old two door sedan parked near the Franklin Street Garage was badly damaged by fire last evening around 9 30. Fire Chief Oscar A Rische suspects arson as there was no battery to cause a short circuit. Dreadnaught truck and booster line brought flames under control though the interior was torn apart. The car bears an old Pennsylvania plate and is said to belong to Fulton Farrell.
