Town Council Hears Complaint Against Officer Hammill
The Town Council met in special session to hear Harry J. Andrews of Gooding Jane claim Officer Charles L. Hammill assaulted him at a dance on Wilson's Lane. Andrews sought Hammill's suspension but later declined to prosecute. council will hear both sides Friday. Officials discussed hall closure, intoxication questions, and other town business, including road width at Pappasquash and dusty condition of Bristol Neck road.
