Bail Refused for Ferrara in Murder Case

Salvatore Ferrara, held without bail on murder charges in the death of his father in law, Giglio, was denied bail by Judge J Jerome Hahn. He remains jailed to await trial in the Fifth District Court on October 24.

A Bristol union service at First Congregational Church on Sunday evening October 16 at 7 30 features Dr Ernest V Claypool of Providence speaking on Shall We Obey the Law The event includes co operation of the Baptist and Methodist Churches and invites fraternal and military groups plus a quartet providing pedal music.

Parish Aid Society Elects Officers and Seeks Mission Outfit

At Trinity Church Parish House meeting, reports were read and accepted. The society voted to join with St Michael's and Warren and Barrington parishes to furnish an outfit for a missionary family. Officers elected for the coming year are President Mrs Richard R Cornell, Vice President Mrs Charles W Young, Secretary Mrs Charles O F Thompson, and Treasurer Mrs Frank Paull.
