Bristol Town Sergeant Thomas E Johnson Dies in Naugatuck
Town Sergeant of Bristol for over 30 years, Thomas E Johnson died suddenly in Naugatuck Connecticut at age 63 or 64. He suffered a heart attack and passed away before his wife and daughter could reach him. He was born in Stockport England on July 30 1876 and later served as Town Clerk briefly in 1919. He worked for United States Rubber Company for over 25 years and later in Naugatuck. Surviving family includes wife Susan Helen Peters and daughter Margaret. Funeral arrangements are pending at 48 Church Street Bristol.
