Bay View Avenue Repairs Sought After Gutted Road Damage
At a Town Council meeting residents urged immediate repairs to the gutting on Bay View Avenue from Rego's corner up the hill. The council discussed water drainage and a possible meeting between the Highway Department and Bristol County Water Co to address the dangerous 1 foot deep ruts and assess damages sought from the Water Co. The council referred damages questions to Town Solicitor Lucien Capone and heard a zoning extension suggestion from Councilman Frank Murphy. A state Street slaughter house complaint was not addressed due to the absence of Building Inspector Otis M Bailey.
