Symphonic Orchestra to Return in Bristol Under Dr Leps
Plans are under way for another Symph ony Orchestra concert in Bristol. Dr Wassii Leps directs the group, funded by the State Department of Education from a state appropriation. Work of erecting new bleachers starts today at Gulleras Field
Erection of two blocks of bleachers begins this morning at Gulleras Athletic Field. Each block has 7 sections with 550 seats, totaling 1100 seats. Located now on the south side near Washington street, the structure will move to the baseball diamond in spring with 84 foot blocks along the first and third base lines. Hussey Mfg. Co. of North Berwick, Maine, handles the work and completion is anticipated today.
