Storm Grounds Boats In Bristo Harbor Wreckage
A southwest windstorm hit Bristo Harbor late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, washing ashore six sailboats including William Mayer’s 40 foot Bermuda yawl Citation and two small powerboats. The harbor suffered the heaviest damage in the area as debris and wrecked vessels cluttered the north end while nearby Warren and parts of Barrington reported impacts.
