D'Ambrosia Leads Warren to 6-0 Victory in Little World Series

Andy D'Ambrosio pitched superbly to limit Bristol to three hits and no runs as Warren blanked Bristol 6-0 in game four. Brochu and Sevigny sparked Warren with key hits and crucial baserunning, while defensive miscues by Bristol aided the shutout. The series stands 2-2 with a deciding game slated for Burr Hill Park next Sunday at 2 p.m.

Gasper resigns as head of HSE Egypt East locality

Peter Gasper resigned as superintendent of the sewage disposal plant effective Saturday. He served on the sewer commission with Donald Gladue and William T Dwyer. Gladue said ill health suspected. a successor not named. Gasper was appointed May 1935. the post paid originally 2000, later 1000. A consulting engineer from Boston may assume supervision on a trial basis. Minutes note 1260 dollars from PWA balance were turned to municipal account.

Bristol Historical Society Forms With 120 Charter Members

The Bristol Historical Society held its first board meeting at Mrs Fred M Dixon Jr s home. Seven of nine directors attended as 120 applicants were elected as charter members. two life members were chosen and a program of speakers for winter meetings approved.
