Rhode Island Marches in 23rd Division Parade Overseas
Tuesday parade plans shifted with Rhode Island scheduled to join the 23rd division at 1 p.m. The corps boarded a bus from the YMCA, moved through rerouted streets, and performed a concert for about 100 children near an orphanage. The Rhode Island delegation led by Luther Beavers marched three miles along Benjamin Franklin Parkway before a television audience of millions.

Parking Meters Study Sought for Street Widening Feasibility
