50th Anniversary Celebration at Old Congregational Church
The 50th anniversary sermon was delivered by Rev. T. Newton-Owen, the 14th pastor since 1687, reflecting on over two centuries of church history. The sermon drew from Psalms and Deuteronomy about Zion, memory, and generations, tracing the church’s origins from 1680s Bristol land purchases to its present building and past meeting houses.
