Dr Daniel James Neylan a noted physician and surgeon of Bristol died suddenly at his home on Union Street shortly after 7 pm He had long battled heart disease and despite past crises his wondeful vitality kept him practicing until yesterday His funeral will be at his residence and burial in North cemetery An autopsy showed dilation of the great artery of the heart as the cause of death The 32nd degree Mason and longtime medical and social leader was born in New York City Nov 27 1852 and leaves a widow Elizabeth Baxter Neylan of Providence The piece also covers a later football game where Y M C A defeated Warren Artillery 6 to 5 with Bristol scoring a first half touchdown and goal and Warren replying in the second half
