Burnside Memorial Fair Raises 1200 for Bristol Hall
In August 1884 Bristol citizens held the Burnside Memorial Fair to fund Memorial Hall on the Burnside Building second floor. Net receipts neared 1200 dollars, aiding tablets for Bristol soldiers and relic displays, with department rooms decorated and strong attendance each afternoon and evening.
