Mrs Nathanael G. Herreshoff is named general chairman of the Bristol District Nursing Association Christmas Seal sale starting Thanksgiving Day and running until the $800 dove quota is set. Last year the drive netted $750 and 10 000 seals plus 50 Health Bonds will be mailed to residents with a Post Office booth possible and no solicitors. Eighty percent stays to Bristol tuberculosis work, twenty percent to state and national groups. The funeral for 82 year old Mrs Teresa Cioffi widow of Giuseppe Cioffi who died Sunday in Providence was held at 7 30 this morning from 136 Bradford Street A high mass followed at 8 00 in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church The bearers were members of Providence and Bristol kindred The service was at St Marys Cemetery Mrs Cioffi who had lived in Bristol for 37 years was born in Poggiomarino Italy in 1856 Surviving are six daughters Matilda Sansone Bristol Julia Clerico Cambridge Mass Emilia Panzarella Ozone Park Nov Letizia Navadi Providence Lena Risieccio and Joseph Coppola Somerville Mass and two sons Friest Mexico and Albert Bristol plus 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren
