Funeral for William Francis Held in Ports mouth
The funeral for William Francis of 233 Turnpike Ave Ports mouth was held Saturday from the George C. Lima Funeral Home with a solemn high Mass of requiem at 9 am in St Elizabeth's Church. The Right Rev Msgr Henrique Rocha was the celebrant, assisted by Rev Fer rando Freitas as deacon and Rev Fernando Viega as sub deacon. Bearers were Harmon Francis Leonard Francis Freddie Olver Donald Raneir Gene R Bercier and Joseph Medeiros. Burial was in St Mary's Cemetery where Msgr Rocha read the committal prayers. Mr Francis, a former resident of this town, died Nov 10. He was the husband of the late Adelina Amaral Francis.

Funeral for Miss Marion Blease in Bristol
Funeral services were held at St Michael's Episcopal Church for Miss Marion Blease 70s longtime Bristol resident and former textile worker. Canon Delbert W Tildesley officiated, with committal at North Burial Ground. She was daughter of the late John and Mary Aspenall Blease and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She died at Cranston Medical Center after a two month illness.

Automobiles collide in multiple November incidents
On November 14 a car driven by William Du Pont was rear ended after a vehicle passing Cabral forced the Cabral car left. On November 15 Anthony Rubiero’s truck was struck on the left side by a car driven by Timothy D Allesandro as he pulled over to avoid traffic. Anthony Pimental stopped to avoid a backing car and was hit from behind by William Medeiros whose car sustained major front end damage while Pimental’s suffered rear, fenders and trunk damage. Medeiros was examined for a cervical sprain.
