Armistice Day Observance Ends With Legion Ball
The three day Armistice Day program in Kearney hosted by the American Legion post concluded Friday night with a military ball attended by high officials. The observance began with memorial services at Colt Memorial high school, followed by the Thursday banquet and Friday parade led by Past Commander Samuel J. Smith as marshal and Brig Gen Callan heading the first division.

Rev Anthony Parshles will officiate and burial is in Juniper Hill Cemetery. She was born in Bristol September 29 1880 and died after a brief illness. She lived at 221 Hope Street and was active in local charity work and St Michael's parish.
