In Rhode Island, Bristol court records show matters pending in the matter of Lee estate. The estate was qualified and filings must be completed with the office of the clerk, specifying required forms and deadlines.
Fragmentary Probate notices describe final accounts and guardianships with estates of various heirs including Luiz, Gordon F., and Barbara T. Feruse, plus a Bristol Town Council session on November 16 1961 at 800 oclock to consider abandonment and potential damages to land parcels described by boundaries near Sisters of St Dorothy land. The list includes multiple estates with ad litem and creditor filings due by early November and December.
The town council discusses the petition to abandon a portion of land abutting Monkey Wrench Lane. The parcel is described as beginning at an iron pipe at the northwesterly corner and running along the specified boundaries. Public input was heard during the meeting.
The Town Council publishes applications for licenses to keep for sale and to sell intoxicating beverages under Title 3 of the Genero Io ovation. The property is described by metes and bounds and located two hundred thirty feet west of Primrose Road and Norre line, with stated interior angles and dimensions ending at the point of beginning. Bids may be made as announced with postponements and adjournments noted.

On Wednesday November 22 at 7 10 pm the Jr Hi Y club hosts a Turkey Trot dance for junior high boys and girls. Rotarians nationwide will join the Million Dollar Meal next Wednesday at the Bristol club to raise funds for the Rotary Foundation. Speakers include Bill Hersey of Stoughton Moss and Dr Dinah Kohner, a Belfast fellowship student, while the event aims to surpass a million dollars in support for graduate fellowships abroad.
The Bristol Historical Society observes its 25th anniversary with a blue plate supper at the White Coach on Monday November 27. Guest speaker is Mrs Antoinette Forrester Downing, author and lecturer, wife of Brown University art professor George E Downing. She discusses restored houses in Providence and other locales, with illustrated slides of Bristol residences.
