Robberies at Pappoosesquaw Houses Reported
Burglars entered the Middleton residence at Pappoosesquaw by raising an east window and stole a spyglass, linens, a carved chest, and other valuables. The Taylor residence nearby was also entered, with two rugs, a leopard skin, a black fur, and a cheap watch stolen. Police suspect intruders familiar with the houses. Elizabeth Ann Wright aged about 58, born in Blackburn England, died last night at Howard after months of illness treatment. She lived in Fall River New Bedford and Toledo before moving to Bristol twenty years ago. A widow she leaves son John W. Wright. Body to be brought home and funeral from his Church Street residence.

Friends' School director to address Bristol meeting
A. L. Cross, physical director at Friends' School Providence and faculty member, will speak at the men’s meeting next Sunday afternoon. Cross, a noted Christian athlete, will appeal to Bristol's young men. Stephen W. Church's and Dr. H W Church's teams play tonight at 8 in the bowling tournament. An evening gym class is set for Wednesday at 8, with football practice then at 7:30.
