A car crash on Metacom avenue near the Thayer estate left Miss Josee Phine Wujcik 26 of 50 Arlington Avenue Warren seriously injured with multiple fractures and possible skull injury. Miss Mary Torres 23 of 180 Bay View Avenue also injured, while Mrs Rosaline Travers 35 and her two year old son Edmund escaped serious harm. Dr Melone aided the injured at the scene and conveyed them to care, Wujcik later moved to Fall River Hospital.

Car and truck collision injures one on Hope Street
