Parade and Parties Ease Halloween Night in Bristol
Bristol residents reported a very quiet Halloween as a large parade moved from Church and High streets to the Y and Guiteras School. The event, sponsored by Kearney Post, featured marching bands, teen dancing, a magician, and a jitterbug contest while store windows remained unusually clean. Taxpayers voted to relocate the town dump to Wardwell Farms for a water spray fill method, ending the long waste-site dispute at Reynolds School.
