Habershaw elected national director of Rhode Island Jaycees
David R. Habershaw of 18 Colonial Rd was elected national director of the Rhode Island Jaycees at the state convention in Newport May 18 and 19. He will join the National Jaycees Board based in Tulsa as one of three Rhode Island representatives and promote state programs. The convention awarded the statewide Human Relations prize to Project PEOPLE, conceived by the Bristol Chapter to aid normalization and social integration of the marginally retarded.
