High school pupils teachers and townspeople will view reels about Bristol England at the high school in the morning noon and evening The event is sponsored by the Bristol RI English Speaking Union and hosted by local officials with Samuel Neal Kent and Mrs J Winthrop DeWolff among speakers The two part program includes city views docks cathedral Brandon Hill and a Lord Mayor procession with free admission by ticket only.

Boy Injured On Hog Island Beach
Samuel Wesley Gladding Jr nine year old son of Mr and Mrs S W Gladding of Palmer Massachusetts suffered a left knee injury on a stone while playing on Hog Island beach. He received seven stitches and was transported by boat to Bristol then taken to Dr John Lake for treatment.
