Bristol mourns the death of Rev. Orvin H. Wallace who died yesterday in Alton New Hampshire after a bronchial illness. He had served as pastor of the Bristol First Baptist Church for three years and accepted a new pastorate in Alton on March 28. Funeral planned for Thursday in Alton.

Bristol defeated the Fall River Colonials 6 to 5 on Sylvester Oval with strong hitting by E Murphy and Erhardt and sharp fielding. The Bristol home victory over the Newport Braves followed 7 to 5 behind solid battery work by E Murphy and Bottomley as Wright led Bristol with three hits. The crowd watched as Bristol erased an early deficit by scoring four in the third, then held the lead to finish.

In Fifth District Court Judge Hammill continued the Antonio August Romano assault case to June 13. Frank Butler pleaded guilty to reveling and was fined three dollars plus costs. Manuel Maderos reveling case also continued two weeks. Luiz D Lollo and three youths, charged with taking Everett L B Church’s Ford, pleaded not guilty. trial set for June 13. Two youths missing due to injuries will have a hearing next Monday. The borrowed car wrecked at Warren flats near Maxwell’s Ice Cream parlor and towed to Bristol.
