Memorial Day Parade Plans for Bristol Area 1948

The Memorial Day committee announces observances on May 31 1948 with 7 30 am cemetery ceremonies a volley and taps. A 9 30 am parade forms on Franklin Street led by Lt Col Matthew G Capone Jr US Army Reserves with 1st Lt Concetta Fasano as Chief of Staff. The march includes police, military units, veterans groups, scouts, cadets and community organizations, ending at the State Armory wharf for memorial exercises and a volley.

Honor Roll Gets Fresh Paint Ahead of Memorial Day

Memorial Day Brings Bronze Plaque at Bristol High
