National Guard unit wins top regional air defense award

Barrington Boys Choir to Sing at General School Auditorium
The Barrington Boys’ Choir and Men’s Glee Club will perform their thirty-seventh program on Tuesday May 26 at the General School Auditorium. Founded in 1956 by director Guy Vance Carpenter the choir grew from thirteen boys and twelve men to twenty-eight boys and fifteen men. Ages range from ten to fourteen with little prior voice training among members. The group has appeared on The Record and other programs, reflecting a long local music tradition.
