Remarkable coal tar vein found at 270 feet near Foxbury
A well drilled seven miles west of Foxbury Pennsylvania yielded a vein of natural coal tar at 270 feet. It is the first such discovery on record though Sweetwater County Wyoming has recently seen large oil veins. A company is formed to bore and work the site, with a president pledging 50,000 barrels per day when needed.
