After an executive session the council accepted the April police report and added three Fourth of July committee members. It authorized street signs and sewer work, approved licenses, and granted a June 9 parade for Asir Sanctorum No 160.

Arthur McDermott of Pawtucket, formerly of this town, was struck on the head by a falling two inch board on the second floor of the Cranston Worsted Mills addition. He received care from Dr. Alfred M Merriman and required two stitches.

Princess Bonnie Charms Audiences In Local Comic Opera
Local talent staged the comic opera Princess Bonnie at the Pas time Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings under American Legion Auxiliary guidance. Nora Dwyer starred with Charles Morgan opposite. the cast included Bert Hart James Pierce and Elvira Paull with choruses and Spanish dancing girls receiving strong fan support.
