The Bristol Parent Teachers Association held a Friday evening program at Colt Memorial High School featuring The Bargain Counter cone act playlet and several Mass Minnie Gogha vocal solos with pianist Mrs Lucien Capone. Members Mrs Reginald Dimond and others participated. PF Reginald Dimond outlined plans for the year and Mrs Glen Smith reviewed two state congress reports. The annual report was read by secretary Mrs Charles Hobson. The next meeting is set for May 26 at the Ermette Brothers plant on Thames Street.

Boston Diver Takes 150 Foot Plunge From Mt Hope Bridge
James Foley of Boston a professional diver performed a 150 foot dive from Mt Hope Bridge into the water Saturday afternoon acting as substitute for Capt John A Jamison of New York who balked at the stunt He entered head first and remained vertical until 50 feet from the water before executing the dive He surfaced quickly and swam to a rowboat unassisted appearing none the worse for the stunt.
