Bristol and Warren Water Works filtration progress
A new mechanical filtration plant at Warren is nearly complete with high lift pumps to be tested. Once approved, Bristol and Warren residents are to receive filtered water by June 1. The system includes six half million gallon filters and a new intake from the Kickemuit reservoir, with improvements to prevent saltwater intrusion and plans for future capacity.
