It lists 20 dozen Ladies past black cotton hose 100 pairs 80 dozen Boys ribbed black hose 100 pairs and 25c boot top fancy stockings alongside underwear and 250 Jersey West offerings.
A large stock of ladies and children's gloves in silk tuffetta and the newest spring kid styles. All kid gloves are warranted.
A sales note advertises twelve dozen gents style ties at 250 each, valued at 450, with pricier options available. A Negligee Shirt is listed at 500, promoted as the leading choice.

Captain Albert Bennett, aged 81, recounts long Bristol maritime career aboard the Barque Empress and Barque Alpha. They sail from Bristol to Havana in 1844, load sugar and railroad iron, voyage to London Newport Charleston and New York, endure a hurricane near New York in 1846, repair in Halifax, head to Algiers and Palermo, then to Baltimore and Galveston before returning to New York and Mobile.
Next Friday and Saturday May 17 18 the Providence Opera House presents Sandow the strongest man with the Sandow Trocadero Vaudevilles. The act features the famed European American artists including The Lucifers Billy Van Tom Brown Amann Jane and more under F Ziegfeld Jr supervision.

In Lambeth a milk vendor on a barrow displayed a tin plate claiming all milk from the establishment was pure. An inspector bought a pint for analysis, later summoning the vendor for false certification. The case resulted in a £5 fine for adding 15 percent water to the milk.
A historic southern mudstone presented to ex Governor Walker is described as an oblong bluish gray concretion about 14 inches long. The stone’s hollow end was used to cover wounds, with its interior pith supposed to absorb venom from snakes or rabid dogs, as witnessed by observers.
