Kearney Post No. 6 American Legion and the Ladies' Auxiliary held their monthly meeting at the Soldiers' Home. Beatrice Vermette nine years old of Bristol Highlands suffered a serious injury to her left eye when a fouled pitch from Mt St Charles Academy struck her through a wire screen during a Woonsocket game against La Salle Academy Providence. She received first aid then was taken home. three doctors were needed for a consultation.

Daylight Robbery Nets Thief a Profit of 35
Joseph McDonough manager of First National Store at 364 Wood street found the cash register missing $35 after a break in during the lunch hour. Entry was gained by forcing a cellar door with a key or false key and the thief accessed the storeroom and shop through three panels under the show window. Chief Kavanaugh suspects an inside job and a former employee is being questioned.

Audubon Society Rhode Island Field Day at Kimball Sanctuary
