Knights of Columbus to hold three day convention in Bristol
Rhode Island Knights of Columbus will converge on Bristol for their 40th anniversary convention. Governor Vanderbilt may address the gathering with Grand Knight Goff as master of ceremonies. The program includes a third degree conferral, a convention dinner and ball at the Bristol Casino, mass at St Marys Church, and multiple state officers and Bristol delegates attending through Tuesday.

Bristol Garden Club Plans Tree Planting Project
The Bristol Garden Club met at Mrs H Carr's home on Meta com avenue to discuss its tree planting program. President Mrs William W Perry noted shrubs at the north end of Townbridge have been cut down fertilized and will recover. Miss Agnes Herreshoff led the horticultural program and an open meeting was announced for May 15 with Dr Kenneth Wright of Rhode Island State College speaking on Flowers and Birds of the Great Swamp on Kingston.
