Sixth Annual Ball Held by Bristol Knights of Columbus
The sixth annual ball under Bristol Council No.79 Knights of Columbus was held at Grand Army Hall with a large attendance from Providence Riverside Barrington Warren and nearby areas. Christie’s orchestra provided music and a concert from 8 to 9 o'clock accompanied the event. The grand march featured Grand Knight Augustus W. Connery and Miss Kelley of Providence. 80 couples danced until 2 a.m. John T. Doyle led the floor with Dennis B. Sullivan as assistant and aides. A full committee handled arrangements refreshments and reception with named organizers and sponsors.

Easter Day Observed With Services and Choirs
Easter across the city saw large congregations and balmy weather. Baptist and St Michael churches held full services with varied programs including choirs recitations and hymns.
