Sewer Commission's Position on Mount Hope Sewer Project
The Sewer Commission explains its stance on Mount Hope avenue sewer funding and timing, noting $20 000 appropriated in 1923 but delayed due to unresolved water supply. It cites bids, rock excavation costs, and an alleged failure by Town Council President Walsh to report a settlement with the Water Company. The commission urges action once water supply issues are resolved and criticizes the town’s resolution as potentially unlawful.
