Express Bus Trial Start Aids Providence Workers

The New England Transportation Co plans a 5:50 a.m. express bus from town via the Wampanoag Trail to Providence to serve workers there. If demand justifies it, service will continue. The town council approved a trial run on weekdays excluding holidays.

Meet Arizona operetta set for two senior nights

The Colt Memorial High School auditorium hosts two performances of the senior class operetta Meet Arizona on March 29 and 30 directed by Mrs Theresa Donovan with Lucretia Massa and Joan Burke as accompanists. Utilities Owe Town Two Thousand Says Pannone

Town surveyor Joseph Pannone told the last council session that utilities owe the town about 2000 dollars while the Highway Department expects 2000 to 3000 dollars for street and sidewalk repairs after gas water and sewer work. Town council ends with debate over sewer bond financing
