Joseph G A Riccio of 24 De Wolf Avenue attends a two week Civil Engineer Corps course in Washington. He wears the Lt (CEC) USNR uniform on temporary active duty and studies shore facilities at naval bases in Washington and Norfolk with other CEC officers. He previously served at Davisville Rhode Island with the US Naval Advance Base Depot during the war and returned to inactive duty in Boston before joining the Civil Engineer Corps Reserve component.
