John Jordin Silvia of 3 State Street died after a brief illness in his 63rd year. Funeral services were held at C. M. Connery Funeral Home and St Elizabeth's Church with a High Requiem Mass. Rev. Luiz Pacheco officiated. Bearers included Joseph Du Pont, Joseph Goulart, Edward Lewis, and Joseph Correiro Jr. Burial followed the service.
