Town Election Sees Democrats Sweep Bristol Council and School Seats
The Bristol town election on Wednesday produced a Democratic sweep for all major contests. Key victors include James J Walsh Henrys W Peterson Thomas H Byrnes and Patrick McGovern for town council positions and School Committee members Mrs Mary J Condon and Dr C J Hasbrouck, with Francisco G Vierra elected as third school member. Results show strong turnout with 2128 votes cast and 607 Democratic straight ballots.
