Dixon Lubricating Saddle Co buys Burnside Street land for plastics expansion

The Dixon Lubricating Saddle Company signed an agreement to purchase all land and six buildings on the north side of Burnside Street from Herreshoff Manufacturing Company. The move to expand plastics manufacturing includes products like the new grease-based plastic Rylon and molds for electrical equipment, with 20,000 square feet of floor space to be utilized.
