The Bristol Republican Town Committee responds to a February 26 inquiry from the Citizens’ Committee. It says the caucus on February 28 was influenced by Democrats. Republicans will not be bound to support nominees partly or wholly chosen by Democrats. The notice is dated Bristol Rhode Island February 28, 1903.
In Bristol the Monday Town Hall gathering attracted debate over nominations for the coming year's Town Council. The writer defends the process, praising the three Republicans and two conservative Democrats as capable, honest leaders who will manage town affairs prudently if elected. Katherine E Burns died at her residence after a long illness. She was born in Warren, daughter of the late John and Johannah Burns, aged 88, and leaves two sisters and one brother. Funeral tomorrow at 8:80 with a requiem Mass at St Mary's Church at 9.00.

Tonight in the YMCA league B H S faces Easy Marks while Too Late meets Rubber Five. Admission is free for adults. Bristols travel to Newport Saturday to clash with the Newport YMCA team as the local season trends fast.
