Miss Helen R Martin of Newport graduates with honors at Rogers High School exercises in Newport last Friday. Her grandparents Mr and Mrs William J Munro and Miss Helen Munro Bradford attend. Martin, from the commercial class, earned bronze and silver medals for merit and received a gold medal and certificate for stenography and typewriting. She is among 138 of 150 graduates.

Sudden Death of Albert P Peck
Albert P Peck son of the late George Ho and Harrett Peck of this town was found dead at his home 35 Burton street last night. Patrolman Demars investigated and found him on the first floor fully dressed. Medical Examiner Dr Ro Siegel ruled death from acute heart trouble likely occurred about 48 hours prior. Born July 3 1877 he trained in local schools and Bryant Stratton College. For 30 years he worked with Davis and Davis of Providence as a bond broker. He was unmarried and survived by Miss Gertrude Peck who has been in hospital care in Providence for years. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 PM from his residence with Rev Charles W Martin officiating.

The Conanicut ferry, long a Newport Jamestown link, is leased by the Newport and Providence Street Railway Co for five years. It will operate Bristol Ferry between Bristol and Bristol, replacing the Bristol for regular runs.
