The Ninth Grade class of 1907, 28 pupils, 14 boys and 14 girls, received diplomas in a high school room festively decorated with national colors and flags. The program included songs, recitations, violin and piano pieces, and a keynote address by Superintendent John P. Reynolds urging high ideals and continued schooling. A second ceremony celebrated the Grammar department graduates in Rockwell Hall, Albert H. Flint Jr. and Evelyn M. Carter, with essays, recitations, a doll drill, and diplomas awarded amid flowers and banquets.
